A poster design for 'Drift' from Outside Edge Theatre company at Vault Festival 2022. Working with photographer Nick Rutter; the concept was to show the main character being overwhelmed by his addictions, floating above his living room carpet surrounded by cans, bottles and pills.
Nick shot the actor Alexander floating in a spa pool, using a colour sheet to provide a backdrop that feels more interior-like. I then retouched the image, adding the items around him. See the original, pre-booze, pre-drug photo below.
