Poster design for Lawrence Batley Theatre's 'Jesus, Jane, Mother & Me' by Philip Stokes.
A hilarious and moving drama from acclaimed playwright and director Philip Stokes about idolisation, growing older and the complex relationship between a son and a mother.
Using the photography by David Lindsay, I created a stage-style backdrop with a shiny foiled curtain, fading into a domestic wallpaper at the base to suggest the fantasies of the lead character. He rises up in a quasi-religious pose to emphasise the title of the show.
